Anja Ringgren Loven, the beloved Danish aid worker, has shared some new adorable photos of a toddler who was abandoned by her family and left to die after being branded a witch in Akwa Ibom state.
 
The child named Hope, was severely malnourished and in a near-death condition at the time of her rescue in March 2024.
 
Ms Loven shared the new photos in a Facebook post on Saturday, February 22, 2025, thanking everyone for their support since the rescue.
 
“I never know what picture to use of baby Hope because they are all good. So here you have all.

"Happy Sunday from Land of Hope. Thank you all for supporting our work,” she wrote in a post on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
