NIGERIA DECIDES 2023: Peter Obi Wins Atiku Abubakar In Adamawa Polling Unit

 


Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), won a polling unit in Adamawa State after the announcement of the result.

Adamawa is known to be the stronghold of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

At Adamawa: PU35, Karewa, Yola north LGA, Obi polled 120 votes, while Atiku scored 82 votes and the All Progressives Party (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, got 26 votes, the Presidential candidate of NNPP polled 2 votes.

Meanwhile, at Atiku’s polling unit in Ajiya Ward, Old GRA, Jimeta, where the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Mohammed Bello, also voted, he scored impressive votes to record a historic first win of his unit since 2007 when he started seeking to be president.

At his Ajiya Ward 012 unit, the PDP flagbearer got 282 votes against 57 votes for the APC, 6 for LP, and 1 for NNPP.
