Microsoft Co-Founder, Bill Gates Finds Love Two Years After Divorce

US-billionaire businessman and co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates has found love once again, after being divorced for more than a year.

The 67-year-old businessman is reportedly seeing 60- years -old Paula Hurd, the wife of the late Mark Hurd, a former co-CEO of Oracle who passed away in 2019.


Paula and Gates are reputed to be ardent tennis supporters, and the lovers have reportedly been seen going to the same tournaments over time.


Recall that the couples reportedly appeared last month at the Australian Open in Melbourne and Sydney.


Paula, a former tech executive is now a philanthropist, event director, and organizer.


After spending 34 years together and 27 years married, Gates and Melinda announced their divorce in May 2021.


They got married in 1994 and welcome their three kids together, Jennifer and Phoebe, their girls, and a son, Rory.


The billionaire, who acknowledged his “grieve“ over their divorce, said he is still friendly with his ex-wife.


He said, “We have a super important, complex, close relationship where we’ve chosen to work together. And I’m very happy that we get to work together. I’m also grieving the same way she is.”

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has confirmed his upcoming wedding to his partner, Chioma Rowland. According to reports on Tuesday Chioma and Davido’s traditional wedding is reportedly scheduled to take place in Lagos on June 25, 2024. Confirming the news in a video shared by his long time associate, UK-based Nigerian Pastor Tobi Adeboyega on Instagram on Tuesday, the excited groom to be invited his friends to join in the celebration. EFCC Arrests 14 Suspected Vote-Buyers, Intercepts N11 Million Cash In Imo And Bayelsa States

  Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested fourteen suspected vote-buyers and intercepted N11m cash in the off-cycle governorship elections.  “ Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 14 (Fourteen) suspected vote buyers in Otueke, Adawari playgrounds in Bayelsa State and at various polling units in Imo and Kogi States,” the anti-corruption agency said in a late Saturday statement. “ They were arrested on Saturday, November 11, 2023, in intelligence-driven operations that commenced several days before the ongoing governorship elections in the three states.” It  also intercepted N11m cash in Bayelsa and Imo states. “Also, a total sum of N11,040,000 (Eleven Million, Forty Thousand Naira only) comprising N9,310,000 (Nine Million, Three Hundred and Ten Thousand Naira) intercepted from suspected vote buyers and sellers in Bayelsa and N1,730,000 (One Million, Seven Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira) intercepted fro

Immigration Officer Bags 7-Year Jail Term Over Passport Fraud

  The  Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has secured the conviction of Quadri Ismail Adeyinka, a staff of the Nigeria Immigration Service for committing travel passport fraud. ICPC  arraigned the convict before Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Apo, Abuja, on a four-count charge bordering on gratification, conferment of corrupt advantage and cheating contrary to extant provisions of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000 and the Penal Code Act. Counsel to ICPC, Dr Osuobeni Ekoi Akponimisingha, in the course of the trial, led evidence before the court on how Adeyinka defrauded Ovie Justice Ojeffia under the pretence of regularising the latter’s international passport. Adeyinka,  after receiving the sum of N100,000 from Ojeffia to regularise the said passport, reneged on their agreement. Veteran Nollywood Actress, Stella Ikwuegbu Is Dead

Nollywood has been plunged into mourning as veteran actress Stella Ikwuegbu passed away on Sunday.  A cloud of sorrow has therefore enveloped the Nigerian film industry as fellow actors, filmmakers, and fans grapple with the devastating news and reflect on Ikwuegbu’s immense contributions to Nollywood over the years. Movie producer Stanley Nwoko, also known as Stanley Ontop, announced on his Instagram page that the veteran actress has passed away.  According to his post, she died on Sunday, June 16, 2024.  He said, “Popular Nollywood actress/veteran Mrs stella ikwuegbu is dead. “The veteran Actress left this world today after battling with Leg cancer.
