Nigerian Gospel Singer Sammie Okposo Dies At 51

 


Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, slumped and died on Friday morning.

His project manager, Hillary Vincent, confirmed the sudden death to the newsmen via a text message.

“Yes, it’s true,” Vincent simply wrote.

The 51-year-old veteran until his death was the Chief CEO of Zamar Entertainment.

He released his first album Addicted in 2004.

He has collaborated with many other artists in the gospel and soul music fields.

He collaborated with popular gospel singer Marvellous Odiete on “Follow You.”

He has also performed regularly in Africa, Europe, and North America, and curates a series of concerts called SOPP (Sammie Okposo Praise Party).
