Donald Trump’s Twitter Account Restored After Elon Musk Poll

The Twitter account of Donald Trump has been restored, after the hint by Elon Musk.

On Saturday, the social media platform owner conducted a poll on the reinstatement of Trump’s account.

“The people have spoken, Trump will be reinstated”, Musk tweeted later in the day.

In the results, 52 percent supported the restoration while 48 percent opposed.

Trump lost all followers after his account was taken down but was followed by more than one million in less than three hours.

The former United States President was suspended early last year for violating Twitter rules.

After losing the 2020 election to President Joe Biden, Trump repeatedly took to his Twitter account to claim he won.

The Republican faces allegations of inciting an insurrection which caused the invasion of the U.S. Capitol.

On January 6, Trump’s supporters marched to the building housing America’s legislature after his “never to concede” statement.

Court Orders Nigerian Government To Serve Court Documents On Nnamdi Kanu Ahead Of Trial

  The Federal High Court in Abuja has given an order to the Federal Government.   It ordered the Federal Government to always serve Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu with documents and materials intended to be submitted as exhibits before they are tendered in court.   Justice James Omotosho said such documents and materials must be front loaded and be made available to the defendant as required by law so as not to catch him unawares in the defense of terrorism charges filed against him.   The judge issued the order on Tuesday during the resumption of Kanu’s trial on terrorism charges.   Issues arose when the second prosecution witness (PW2), codenamed as PWBBB, testified that he was assigned by the Attorney General of the Federation to investigate Kanu.   He described Kanu as the operator of Radio Biafra and the founder of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
