News circulating online indicates that Portuguese international footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired a private island just to be able to isolate his family from the deadly Coronavirus epidemic.
The Juventus star and his family will be staying at the island for some time until the Coronavirus disappears. It is reported that Ronaldo bought the island in the Pacific in adherence to the directive by Juventus management that players should go on self-quarantine. Ronaldo’s wife Georgina, published a photo on her Instagram page which shows the place where she will be lodging with husband and children.

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
