16-Year-Old Girl Who Scored 9As In WAEC And Won Full Scholarship To Study In the UK, Poisoned To Death By Her Stepmother

A 16-year old girl has been allegedly poisoned by her stepmother after news broke she won a full scholarship to study in the UK with her excellent 9A’s in West African Examinations Council exams (WAEC). Identified as Chidera from Amakpoke Umuaku Isuochi of Umunneochi LGA of Abia State, she sat for the WAEC exams last year had exceptional results but unfortunately, she died before her time.

 Sources confirmed that her stepmother allegedly poisoned her because she was jealous of her success. Chidera was said to have died in school after eating the poisoned food given by her stepmom earlier in the morning before leaving for school, eyewitnesses said she insisted until her last breath that the only food she ate was the food that was given to her by her stepmother.

  Anambra native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okoku Tiwara Aki n’Oba has been arraigned on five charges bordering on ritual practices, robbery conspiracy, and aiding internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. Nwangwu was arrested on Sunday, February 16, and his charges were officially presented at the Anambra State High Court on Tuesday, February 25, in a ruling delivered by Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu. The case was brought against him by the Anambra State government, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
