Ex YBNL Artiste Commits Suicide

A week After young Nigerian rapper and singer, Olanrewaju Pelepele shared an emotional video online talking about how depressed he was and his plans to take his own life.
At the time, he wasn’t taken seriously and now, he has made good on his promise and has taken his life. He was found stone-cold dead in his apartment on Friday, September 20th, 2019. His death stems from his long battle with depression and his inability to fully break into the Nigerian music industry despite 10years of hard work.

  The operatives of Obowo Divisional Police Headquarters, in collaboration with community youths, have arrested two suspects linked to the rape and gruesome murder of Wendy Achumba, a 21-year-old nursing student of Mercy College of Nursing Science, Umulogho, whose lifeless body was found in her off-campus residence at Umuadara, Umulogho, Obowo, LGA, Imo State. The  spokesperson of the Imo Police, Henry Okoye, in a press statement, said the two suspects were identified as Onyema Okonkwo, 32, and Emmanuel Onyekachi, 25. Both are natives of the community where the crime was allegedly committed. Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
