Family Of 7, Pregnant Guest Found Dead In Oshodi, Lagos

Tragedy struck in Mafoluku, Oshodi area of Lagos after a family of seven and their guest were found dead on Wednesday morning.
A man, his wife, their four children and a pregnant guest were all discovered dead around 10 am on Wednesday. Policemen have since been notified and were at the residence to evacuate the bodies. Resident of the area said they are suspecting a likely food poisoning.

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
