Nigerian Executive Found Dead Inside Her Home In Canada Just Hours After Returning From Work

A Nigerian woman has been found dead in her home in Canada, leaving her family, friends, and the wider community in shock.

Victoria Kemi Adedoyin, 33, who relocated to Canada in July 2022, was a highly accomplished executive working with a multinational company in Canada.

It was gathered that she attended church on Sunday, January 18, 2026, and went to work the following Monday, January 19, before returning home later that day. 

She was scheduled to join an online meeting with senior company executives that same Monday. When she failed to log in and could not be reached by phone or messages, her colleagues got worried and alerted the police. 

Officers later forced entry into her residence, where they discovered her lifeless body. 

Initial reports indicated that the coroner suspected a brain aneurysm as the possible cause of death. However, this claim was later withdrawn due to insufficient evidence. 

Her sudden passing has left many unanswered questions and deep sorrow among those who knew her. 

Mourning her, the Facebook group Nigerians in Canada said that Fadekemi achieved a major milestone in 2022 when she obtained her Canadian Permanent Residency and relocated to Canada in July of that same year. 

"True to her nature as a lifelong scholar, she invested in her growth by enrolling in several professional courses and earning multiple certifications. She soon began a new chapter with Accenture, Canada, as a Senior Analyst. Assigned initially as a Client Account Manager on the Pinterest project, she was promoted within eight months to Senior Client Account Manager on the Direct (B2B) team. 

"Her versatility, resilience, and leadership led to her transition to the Agency Team in 2024 as a Senior Agency Account Manager, where she quickly rose to the role of Team Lead, a position she held with distinction until her passing," the group admin added on Facebook.
