Peter Obi Denies Visiting Tinubu

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has denied visiting Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Tinubu.

According to him, the rumours and purported photoshopped pictures making rounds on social media, were part of moves by the opposition to derail his objective.

Obi made the clarification during an interview on Arise TV on Monday night.

“I never visited him (Tinubu). I didn’t. These are some of the things I’ve been telling you. They have turned the whole thing upside down.

“So, what they (the opposition) do now is think about what they are going to do to cause issues and what they are going to do to label him (Obi) this or that,” Obi said.

Obi is in court to challenge Tinubu’s victory during the 2023 presidential election on February 25.

The former Governor of Anambra State finished in third place as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stay calm and steadfast as he continues efforts to secure his release. It was gathered that the governor visited the IPOB leader at the Sokoto Correctional Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2025. This was disclosed on Sunday night in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma. Ibom Air Bans Passenger For Life After Violent Assault On Crew And Security At Lagos Airport

Nigerian air carrier, Ibom Airlines Limited has banned a passenger identified as Comfort Emmanson, from flying with its airline after she was found assaulting one of the crew members of their aircraft. Emmanson had in a viral video repeatedly slapped a Purser with Ibom Aircraft after she was allegedly told to switch off her phone before take-off. Confirming the incident in a statement on Monday, Ibom Air said the incident happened on Sunday while Emmanson was on board their Uyo to Lagos flight. The statement read, “Shortly before take-off from Uyo, Ms. Emmanson was instructed in line with standard aviation safety procedures to switch off her mobile phone.
