''Might Give It All Away'' - Davido Writes After Raking Over N180 Million From Friends

Nigerian music star, Davido has hinted at what he might do with the over N180 million donated to him by his friends.

 

Two days ago, Davido opened a new account and asked his friends to gift him N1 million each ahead of his birthday.


His friends came out enmass as they donated. Within nine hours, the singer had exceeded his N100 million goal and increased the stakes to N200 million. The donation as at the last update he gave stands at N184 million.

 

 

A tweet he shared yesterday afternoon gives the impression he is considering giving the money away. He tweeted

  Anambra native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okoku Tiwara Aki n’Oba has been arraigned on five charges bordering on ritual practices, robbery conspiracy, and aiding internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. Nwangwu was arrested on Sunday, February 16, and his charges were officially presented at the Anambra State High Court on Tuesday, February 25, in a ruling delivered by Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu. The case was brought against him by the Anambra State government, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
