Nigerian Comedian, Gordons’ Mum Gets Married At 72

Mother to Nigerian comedian, Godwin Komone, popularly known as Gordons, recently got married at the age of 72.

The comedian on Sunday made this known via his Instagram page, stating that true love does exist.

Gordons shared a picture from the ceremony, which he said took place on Saturday.

His caption read, “My mother got married yesterday at the age of 72. Don’t tell me true love doesn’t exist. Congratulations mama.”


The 50-year-old comedian had, in an interview, revealed that he’s the only son of his parents.

However, it was not mentioned if his parents were married when they had him.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
