World's Most Expensive Chicken Costs $2,500

Ayam Cemani is reported to be the world’s most expensive chicken which is valued at $2500. According to Wikipedia, the chicken is regarded as a very uncommon breed from Indonesia with a rare pigmentation that renders its entire body black including its internal organs.
The etymology of the chicken’s name is formed from two different things, where “Ayam” means chicken in Indonesia and “Cemani” is the name of the village where the chicken is bred. It should be noted that sizes also affect the prices of the chicken as the least you could get the smallest for is $50, where the one tagged the Indonesian King goes for high as $2500 (N906,259.25)
