Boeing To Get New CEO By January 13th, 2020

Boeing’s CEO Dennis A. Muilenburg is CEO no longer, the company announced today. Effective January 13, 2020, current Board Chairman David L. Calhoun takes over the top executive officer spot at the aerospace company, and becomes president, as well.
This isn’t exactly a surprising decision: Boeing’s year has been marked primarily by its handling of the 737 Max issues it faced, which stemmed from aircraft failures that resulted in crashes and the deaths of passengers.

  The operatives of Obowo Divisional Police Headquarters, in collaboration with community youths, have arrested two suspects linked to the rape and gruesome murder of Wendy Achumba, a 21-year-old nursing student of Mercy College of Nursing Science, Umulogho, whose lifeless body was found in her off-campus residence at Umuadara, Umulogho, Obowo, LGA, Imo State. Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.

  Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has confirmed his intention to leave office before the expiration of tenure and contest for the Imo West Senatorial seat in 2027 elections, declaring that he was answering a renewed call to serve his people at the National Assembly.
