Nollywood actress and former beauty queen, Tenia Abraham Omenogor has passed away at the age of 32 following a battle with a kidney infection.

The actress died on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with her family officially announcing her passing two days later.

Friends, family, and colleagues gathered on Saturday, October 17, at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja to lay the actress to rest after a final viewing at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Jabi, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

“A beautiful soul, a gifted talent, gone too soon,” her family wrote in a statement posted on her social media page. “She lived with passion, touched many lives with her talent, and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.”

Before her acting career, Tenia Abraham Omenogor gained public recognition when she was crowned Beauty Queen South South in 2020.

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
