“Before I Proposed To BamBam, We Were Not In Speaking Terms” – Teddy A

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, has revealed during an interview that before he proposed to his wife who was also his fellow housemate in Big Brother Naija and Nollywood actress, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as BamBam, they were not in speaking terms.

During the chat, which the couple were a guest on, they further said that despite the notion people had that they married due to pregnancy of their first child, it was out of love.

BamBam said, “Even about the pregnancy that people were talking about, saying that it was because of the pregnancy he married me. If Teddy did not want to marry me, there was nothing I was going to do about it.”

Teddy further stated that when she told him about the pregnancy, he had to take responsibility.

He said, “Do you understand that before I proposed to my wife, we were not talking for two weeks. We were fighting. Then when she told me she was pregnant, I felt that it was a sign. If you don’t want this woman, you don’t have to be with her. Now that she is pregnant, what do you want to do? Do you want to be responsible and man up?”

BamBam married Teddy A on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Ogun State, followed by a white ceremony on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in Dubai. They have two children.

In a 2020 interview, she disclosed that she had complications during her first childbirth and subsequently battled postpartum depression.

The United States House Of Representatives Votes To Suspend 100% Aid To Nigeria Over Alleged Christian Persecution

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
