Mohbad Honoured With Heartfelt Tribute At The 17th Headies Awards

Late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad has been remembered at the 17th Headies Awards in Lagos.
 
A moving tribute was held in his honour at the event.
 
A solemn voice narrated the story of Mohbad’s life, his musical journey, and the unforgettable impact he made on fans.
 
Part of the tribute message read: “Some voices are too powerful to be forgotten, some spirits shine so bright they leave a mark that cannot be erased. Mohbad was one of those stars. From the streets of Lagos to the heart of millions, Mohbad’s music was more than sound; it was a movement…Rest in peace, Mohbad, your light will never fade.”
 
The tribute served as one of the night’s most touching moments, reminding the audience of Mohbad’s lasting legacy in the Nigerian music scene.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
