Ballon d’Or 2022: 30-Man Nominees Confirmed [FULL LIST]

A 30-man shortlist for this year’s Ballon d’Or award has been announced on Friday, 12 August 2022. The award is set to hold on Monday 17th of October, 2022 at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France.

This was confirmed by France Football, who are organizers of the award, via their website.

Recall that Lionel Messi, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, won the Ballon d’Or last year after beating the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho and Karim Benzema.

  Anambra native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okoku Tiwara Aki n’Oba has been arraigned on five charges bordering on ritual practices, robbery conspiracy, and aiding internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. Nwangwu was arrested on Sunday, February 16, and his charges were officially presented at the Anambra State High Court on Tuesday, February 25, in a ruling delivered by Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu. The case was brought against him by the Anambra State government, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
