"Constant Infidelity Made Me To Conduct Paternity Tests On My Kids" - Nedu

Nigerian media personality and comedian, Chinedu Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has explained why he had paternity tests done on his children. This came as part of his response to his ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri, who accused him of physical assault.

He wrote on Instagram, “Our marriage was one plagued with a lot of issues. One of which was continuous infidelity from her side that made me conduct paternity tests on our kids which led to the revelation that our first son is not my biological son, even though he was born during our marriage.”

According to Nedu, he had to respond when Ohiri called him out on social media. This was even as he presented evidence of the paternity test, a picture showing bites marks on his arm and a video of someone trying to breaking down a door. Regarding the allegation of domestic violence, he said, “I would like to state clearly that I do not support or encourage any form of domestic violence, whether targeted at a woman or man. I have never been one to physically violate anybody, including my ex-wife.”

“On the allegation of domestic violence, we have had this matter investigated twice. One was at a police station in Ajah and another by a competent court of law during the dissolution of our marriage.

“Both times, I was cleared of all allegations and I have the necessary proof to back up my claim. If anyone should be laying claims to domestic violence, it should be me.”

Meanwhile, Osama Akpunonu, aka Osama the Comedian, also backed up Nedu’s claim, stating that his colleague was the actual victim of the alleged violence. He said, “The domestic violence this woman is claiming is funny because Nedu was even the one who suffered domestic violence. He had to run out of the house in 2017 without any clothes, just his car.

“This woman in question attacks him so badly that he even locks the door sometimes for his safety. Do you know that one day, this woman attacked Nedu and inflicted injuries on him. He had to run naked into his office.”

However, Ohiri hinted that her motive for the public call out was to get his attention. She said, “Now that I have got your attention, all I have been demanding is for you to take up your responsibilities over our lovely kids. For four years, I have been paying the house rent and lots of bills. You might not understand as you have never spent more than 12 hours with them.”
