Korede Bello’s 'Do Like That' Certified Gold In The US



Nigerian singer, Korede Bello, has received a Recording Industry Association of America, gold certification for his hit song “Do Like That”.

The excited singer shared this on this verified Instagram page on Thursday, as he shared a picture of the gold certification.

According to the certification, the song, which was released on September 13, 2016 received it’s gold certification after 0.5 million certified units were sold.

The certification was dated September 20, 2021, roughly five years after the song was released under the popular Nigerian record label, Mavin Records.

Celebrating the win, Korede Bello wrote, “Family, congratulations to us. Big love to all my fans around the world streaming #KoredeBello music. This is because of you.”

Bello also acknowledged the song producer and Chief Executive Officer of the Mavin Records saying, “We struck gold with this record @burssbrain @donjazzy.”

Hinting at releasing new songs, Bello told his fans to”stay tuned for more.”
