Veteran Nigerian Rapper, Biglo Is Dead

 


Veteran Nigerian Rapper, Lotanna Udezue popularly known as Biglo has passed away on Christmas Day after battling kidney disease. He was confirmed dead by his colleague and friend, Jazzman Olofin. 

Olofin said;

“Yes, Biglo has died. As far as I know, he had been sick for a period of time. He had been battling kidney disease, he had been informing the public through his social media account for some time now. ” I received a phone call from our mutual friends in the United States last night when he died Friday, which was Christmas Day. Unfortunately, I have no idea how old he was.”

Prior to his death, the veteran rapper went public with his kidney ailment in 2018. He opened a Gofundme page in which he requested for public funds. He claimed that he had to undergo dialysis three times a week since its discovery.

Biglo disclosed that his life had been disrupted since he was diagnosed with kidney failure; he lost his job, car and even his home because  of his poor health. He reached out to everyone to help pay his bills and get a kidney transplant in India. The rapper became famous in the early 2000s for his collaboration with 2shotz and StylPlus.
