How To Link Your SIM Card To NIN By Dialing Codes

The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) few days ago released a statement about blocking SIM cards not registered with the National Identity Number (NIN). They passed the order to all the telecommunication operators in Nigeria of which the deadline is on the 31st of December.

However, the Telecom operators have made it easy for their customers with NIN to update their SIM cards with the thumb of their hands. That's a good news!

With your NIN, there are codes to dial from your mobile phone to update your SIM cards without the stress of going to your telecom operator's store.

For MTN Customers:-

Dial *785# and enter your NIN

For Airtel Customers:-

Dial *121*1# and enter your NIN

For GLO Customers:-

Text UPDATENIN <SPACE> YOUR NIN <SPACE> FIRSTNAME <SPACE> LASTNAME to 109

For 9mobile Customers:-

Dial *200*8# to link your NIN
