Police Arrest Couple For Allegedly Stealing, Selling Children, Recover 10 In Ondo State

The Ondo State Police Command has reportedly arrested a couple, Lukman Isiaka and his wife, Abosede Olanipekun, for allegedly abducting children in Ondo and Osun states.

It was gathered that the police have successfully recovered 10 of the allegedly stolen children.

However, some distraught parents who thronged the command’s headquarters lamented that their children were still missing.

The report revealed that the couple were allegedly using various methods to abduct the children, selling each one for N1 million to Sabina Izuorah, a 62-year-old resident of Ihiala in Anambra State.

It was gathered that the arrest of the couple followed a police investigation into the abduction of a child reported missing by her mother.

Efforts to reach the Ondo Police Command proved abortive, as the phone number of the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, could not be reached.
