Primeboy Turns Himself In, Taken Into Custody Over Mohbad’s Death

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy is currently in custody.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Thursday, said Primeboy turned himself in.

It was gathered that Primeboy was recently declared wanted by the Police over the controversy surrounding the death of Afrobeats artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.

DSP Benjamin said Primeboy was taken into custody immediately he showed up.

The post reads, “Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in.

“He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.

“The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation.

“The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice”.

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stay calm and steadfast as he continues efforts to secure his release. It was gathered that the governor visited the IPOB leader at the Sokoto Correctional Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Ibom Air Bans Passenger For Life After Violent Assault On Crew And Security At Lagos Airport

Nigerian air carrier, Ibom Airlines Limited has banned a passenger identified as Comfort Emmanson, from flying with its airline after she was found assaulting one of the crew members of their aircraft. Emmanson had in a viral video repeatedly slapped a Purser with Ibom Aircraft after she was allegedly told to switch off her phone before take-off. Confirming the incident in a statement on Monday, Ibom Air said the incident happened on Sunday while Emmanson was on board their Uyo to Lagos flight. The statement read, “Shortly before take-off from Uyo, Ms. Emmanson was instructed in line with standard aviation safety procedures to switch off her mobile phone.
