Court Remands Naira Marley And Sam Larry For 21 Days

A Magistrate Court in the Yaba area of Lagos State has remanded Azeez Adeshina Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry.

The duo will remain in custody for 21 days.

The Lagos State Police Command had sought a 30-day remand for Fashola and the others to complete their ongoing investigation.

However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled that a 21-day remand would suffice.

  Anambra native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okoku Tiwara Aki n’Oba has been arraigned on five charges bordering on ritual practices, robbery conspiracy, and aiding internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. Nwangwu was arrested on Sunday, February 16, and his charges were officially presented at the Anambra State High Court on Tuesday, February 25, in a ruling delivered by Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu. The case was brought against him by the Anambra State government, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
