The 2023 BET Awards took place on Sunday night at Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, United States of America with plenty of hip-hop’s biggest stars taking home awards for their work over the past year.


Nigerian superstars Burna Boy and Tems emerged as winners while talented singer, Davido delivered an electrifying performance at the event.


Tems received an award in the Best Collaboration category for her contribution on the Grammy award-winning song, “Wait For U” with Future and Drake.


The event featured other remarkable performances by rap legends such as KRS1, Big Daddy, and Fat Joe.

  Anambra native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okoku Tiwara Aki n’Oba has been arraigned on five charges bordering on ritual practices, robbery conspiracy, and aiding internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. Nwangwu was arrested on Sunday, February 16, and his charges were officially presented at the Anambra State High Court on Tuesday, February 25, in a ruling delivered by Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu. The case was brought against him by the Anambra State government, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The Five Charges Against Him Include: 1. Engaging in money ritual practices. 2. Maintaining business ties with drug dealers. 3.
