Meek Mill Splits With Girlfriend Milan Harris Days After Kanye West Said He Tried To Divorce Kim Kardashian Over The Rapper

US Rapper Meek Mill has announced that he and his girlfriend, Milan Harris, have gone their separate ways two months after they welcomed their first child together.

 

The rapper, 33, confirmed their break up on social media, assuring fans that he and the fashion designer are still on good terms and will continue to co-parent their son.

 

"Me and Milano decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents ... we still have mad love for each other but we both came to a understanding," the rapper wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram.

 

He also added: "no fallout either just moving forward! Still love! This for protection so social media won't think we moving wrong."

 

The breakup came days after Kanye West, 43, claimed in a since-deleted tweet on Tuesday, July 21, that he had been trying to divorce his wife Kim Kardashian after she met with Meek Mill at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in L.A. “for ‘prison reform.'” The rapper added that the reality star was “out of line” for meeting up with Meek, seemingly alleging that Kardashian cheated on him.

 

But Kanye West publicly apologised to Kim Kardashian over the weekend for going public with their private matter.

A  federal lawmaker representing the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in Edo State, Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt. Okojie, the husband of the Nollywood movie Star, Mercy Johnson, was reportedly attacked by armed men suspected to be political thugs at his residence in Uromi on Friday morning.   The  Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced one Courage Ikpaka to two years imprisonment for duping a United States citizen, Mrs Yvelte M. Thompson of $53,000 by impersonating Nigerian musician, Chinedu Okoli popularly known as Flavour N’abania. Justice   Dehinde Dipeolu convicted Ikpaka on Tuesday following his guilty plea to a two-count charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Prosecution counsel, Suleiman Suleiman, led EFCC investigator Azibagiri Dan Ekpar in evidence against the defendant.   A Nigerian nurse, identified as Ruth Auta has been sentenced to three years in jail for causing the death of her ten-week-old baby. The nurse was sentenced by Bolton Crown Court in the UK. It was gathered that the Nigerian woman left the deceased baby Joshua Akerele in her nurse's accommodation for eight hours so she could work her shift on December 20, 2022. The nurse was said to be a single mother, aged 28. When she returned to her room, she found Joshua lifeless in his cot and dialled 999, telling operators her son was not breathing.
