Runtown Becomes First Nigerian Celebrity To Receive The US Government’s Palliative

Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu better known by his stage name Runtown has just revealed that he just got a stimulus payment from the US.

Runtown disclosed this moments ago on his Twitter handle. He also revealed that despite his 2 year ban from America, he is still recognized by the government as one of their own.

“Got Stimulus Payment from the US lol ,will share to my friends here. Plot Twist: Been banned from the US for 2 years now,” he wrote. The singer also promised to share what he got to his Nigerian fans. This has left Nigerians in complete shock as some are wondering why the Nigeria government can’t do same to her citizens.
However, Nigerians have been calling on the government to pay her citizens via BVN to help them stock their houses since there’s an order to stay at home because of COVID-19. Some states in the country have been on total lockdown for almost two months now.
Recall that few months ago, the singer shared 10 Million Naira amongst his fans in Nigeria to support during the lockdown that was imposed by the Federal government to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
