Nigerian award-winning singer, 9ice has unveiled a new artiste, Olamide Ojo, known as ‘Olamyte’ as a new singee on his record label, Alapomeji Ancestral Records. The Afropop star also presented the young artiste with a Mercedes Benz GL 4-Matic SUV worth N12 million as a welcome gift to his records label. A popular Prophet, Rev. Paul Abam of Word Based Prophetic & Deliverance Ministries (a.k.a City of Deliverance), in Ugep, Yakurr local government area of Cross River State has confessed that he bury charms in people’s house to perform miracles. Nollywood actor, comedian, UN Youth Ambassador and a philanthropist Williams Uchemba is a father now. The actor revealed he has adopted an eighteen year old boy, Demola, to be his son. Uchemba shared the story of his chance meeting with Demola via his Instagram, revealing details of how this came to be. According to the child star, he had gone to a carpentry workshop to commission some furniture for new projects when he met Demola, who was an apprentice there. He revealed that on speaking with the teenager, he found him to be a smart kid who had completed his secondary school education with good grades but could not proceed with his dream to study Economics in the University as a result of lack of funds. Hearing his story, Williams Uchemba decided to adopt him and plans to sponsor his education as well as mentor Demola.

Robert Farkas, the founder of cryptocurrency firm Centra Tech, which raised more than $25 million from its initial coin offering scam, pled guilty in a federal court in Manhattan on Tuesday.  The   official statement   accused Farkas of conspiring to commit securities and wire fraud and ordered a sentence between 70 to 87 months and a fine up to $250,000. The date of the sentence is yet to be determined. A company built on lies Farkas launched the Miami-based company along with two other “co-founders,” Sohrab Sharma and Raymond Trapani, whose trials are due in November this year. A Nigerian man was beaten to a pulp for trying to help a domestic violence victim who was being physically assaulted by her husband and his friends.   According to the brother of the man who was badly beaten, his brother was driving when he saw 6 men beating a woman. One is the woman's husband and the other are his friends.   He pulled over to save the woman and the men allegedly beat him up.   The woman who was allegedly beaten by her husband, later took to Facebook to cry for help, revealing her life is in danger.   "Friends I was beaten today by the father of my son and he threatened to kill me," she wrote, adding, "I have to ran out of his car on his way to the place I will be killed please my life is in danger I need help (sic)".     The brother of the Good Samaritan, wrote on Twitter: "My Younger brother got beaten to a pulp by 6 men today.
