2022 Headies Awards To Hold In Atlanta USA, Next Rated Artiste To Win 2022 Bentley

Organizers of the Headies awards have announced a 2022 Bentley as the prize for the next Rated award category.

The 15th edition of the award show is scheduled to hold at the Cobb Energy Centre Atlanta, United States, on July 12.

The event’s organizers also announced new changes to the award show, including new categories and live streaming by major tv and streaming platforms, including CNN and BBC.

The 15th Headies award show will hold for the first time outside Nigeria and will be hosted by Nancy Isime; the event would include performances by dancer, Kaffy and singer Goya Menor.

Established in 2022, the Headies, formerly known as the Hip Hop World Awards, celebrates the outstanding achievements of artistes in the Nigerian music industry.

Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Paul Nwokocha has stirred reactions on social media after he confirmed that his second marriage was over. He referred to his wife as a whore, while revealing that he caught her sending her unclad photos to other men. Teenage Boy Shot By Landlord In Owerri While Attempting To Retrieve Football From His Compound Has Died

The teenage boy who was shot by his landlord in Imo State for jumping into his house to retrieve a ball during a game of football on his school field has succumbed to his injuries. Paul died at the Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery. Paul’s guardian, Mr Jonathan Odikanwa, a septuagenarian told the newsmen that his ward passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 20, 2025. The 16-year-old student of Urban Secondary School in the Area N, World Bank Housing area of Owerri had jumped over his school fence to retrieve a ball that entered the yet-to-be-identified landlord’s premises on Monday.
