Singer Teni Runs Off Stage After Gunshot Sounds At Port Harcourt Event

Nigerian singer, Teniola Akpata, simply known as Teni,cut off her performance and ran for her life at a show in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

She was performing when a fight began between a guy and another.

A viral video made available online shows that at the sound of gunshots, the music star ran out of the show for her own safety.

Teni is known for her afropop hit “Billionaire” and “Uyo Meyo”. She was allegedly performing her top single “Hustle” off her most recent album, when the incident happened in Port Harcourt.

Teni was also featured to perform at the “Rich and Famous” night in Owerri on December 30,2021. She posted the event on her official platform. However, little is known about the performance in Port Harcourt.

The United States House Of Representatives Votes To Suspend 100% Aid To Nigeria Over Alleged Christian Persecution

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
