FAILED FORTIFICATION: Enugu State Police Arrest Native Doctor, Father Over Son’s Death

  Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the death of a young man during a failed fortification. It was gathered that the n ews went viral of a young man whose father took to a native doctor for fortification, but he died one hour after he was buried alive. In a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday night, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, Police Public Relations Officer, Enugu State Command, said the suspects have been arrested. According to him, “ The Enugu State Police Command is making the public aware of the recent occurrence and handling of two separate murder cases. “In the first case, a native doctor, one Enuwa Odugu “m”, aged 48, and Uwakwe Eze “m”, aged 67, were arrested for conspiracy and murder of Eze’s 26-year-old son, one Chikwado Celestine Eze. “The incident is alleged to have occurred when Uwakwe Eze took his son to the native doctor’s shrine for rituals intended to fortify him with charms. Hisbah Retracts Alleged Adultery Charges Against Jigawa Commissioner, Auwal Sankara

  Kano Hisbah has  retracted an earlier report that accused the Jigawa State’s Commissioner for Special Duties, Auwal Danladi Sankara of immoral act. A Kano State Hisbah Board official, Malam Aliyu Dakata retracted the report.   The allegation which dented the image of Sankara, has now been removed, clearing his name of any inappropriate behaviour with a married woman, Tasleem Baba Nabegu.   The accusations led to the Commissioner’s suspension by the Jigawa State Governor.   Dakata gave the clarification in a recent interview, stating that Sankara was not involved in any immoral act.   “When we arrived at the scene, we found Tasleem in her car making a phone call, while Sankara was standing in the compound of a building under construction that belongs to him. There was no evidence of any illicit relationship,”  Dakata stated. Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, is currently in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos State, where he spent the night in a cell at the police facility. A source, who confirmed the development said further directives were being awaited regarding Okuneye’s case, adding that he was taken to the FCID for safekeeping following his arrest by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service during his attempt to exit the country through the Seme border. The source said, “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday. Immigration arrested him at Seme Boarder and brought him for safekeeping. “He is in detention at the FCID, Alagbon. Kano Hisbah Declares Suspended Jigawa Commissioner Sankara Wanted For Alleged Adultery

  The  Kano State Hisbah Board has declared Auwal Danladi Sankara, the suspended Commissioner for Special Duties in Jigawa, wanted over allegations of adultery. The Commander General of the board, Aminu Daurawa, revealed this during a press briefing in Kano on Monday, stating that Sankara was allegedly caught in an unfinished building with a married woman, following intelligence reports. Daurawa explained that the accusations against Sankara came from the woman’s husband, Nasiru Bulama, who had filed multiple complaints, accusing the commissioner of engaging in an illicit relationship with his wife, Tasleem Nabegu, the mother of their two children. “We attempted to resolve the issue amicably by inviting both families. However, only the husband attended, while the commissioner refused to respond and later fled after being granted bail by Hisbah,” Daurawa said, adding that the case had since been taken to court.   A  radio presenter, Chinonso Ubah, popularly known as Nonso Nkwa, has been arrested by the Imo State Police Command over allegations bordering on cyberstalking, character defamation and inflammatory statements. Confirming the arrest, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye informed that the presenter was arrested by the Operatives of the Command on October 20, 2024, following a written petition from a concerned citizen regarding viral videos, where the presenter allegedly engaged in Character defamation, spreading misinformation and inflammatory statements against him. He was apprehended near Teachers’ House Owerri-Port Harcourt Road. “No Evidence Bobrisky Slept Outside Prison During Jail Term” – Federal Government Panel

  A  panel setup by the Federal Government has dismissed claims by controversial activist, Verydarkman that the crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky slept outside the prison during his six-month jail term. According to the panel report on Monday, there is no evidence showing that Bobrisky served his sentence outside the prison.   The Executive Director and founder of Prisoners’ Rehabilitation and Welfare Action, Uju Agomoh, disclosed this while reading the phase one report of the panel at the Ministry of Interior.   Bobrisky was released from prison on August 5 after she was sentenced to six months on April 12 for naira mutilation.   Popular activist, VeryDarkMan had accused Bobrisky of spending his jail term in a lodge and not the Kirikiri prison due to the influence of a godfather.   VeryDarkMan also released an audio of Bobrisky alleging to have bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), with N15 million t...
