  Popular American singer, Sean Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, has been indicted for his alleged involvement in a $1million wire fraud scheme. The singer whose real name is Kisean Anderson was charged in a Miami federal court along with his mother Janice Turner, on Friday.  according to the indictment, the scheme involved making fraudulent payments through banks that were never processed, resulting in the accumulation of over $1million in property. Kingston and Turner have been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and five counts of wire fraud.  If convicted, they face up to 20 years in prison on each count.   Cryptocurrency billionaire, Linus Williams Ifejika popularly known as Blord, has been granted bail after three days in police custody. Controversial self-acclaimed social media activist, VeryDarkMan made this known in a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday. It was gathered that VeryDarkMan had days ago announced Blord’s arrest over allegations of fraud and terrorism funding. However, giving an update in a now trending post on his page, VeryDarkMan revealed that Blord has been released after much ‘begging and crying.’ “After much begging and crying Blord is out and he will be going back next week to answer for all his alleged crimes I believe the @npf_nccc will not compromise and Justice will be upheld, see you next week Mr influential.” The Blord Group had debunked the allegations of his arrest, clarifying that he was simply invited for questioning.

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has dismissed an appeal by a suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, seeking to quash the drug trafficking charge filed against him . In a judgement, a three-member panel of the appellate court dismissed Kyari’s appeal for lacking in merit. Justice Adebukol Banjoko, who read the lead judgement, held that there was no reason to tamper with the findings and conclusions reached by the trial court on March 22, 2023. “The learned trial judge is directed to continue and conclude the trial at the Federal High Court,” Banjoko said. “The  appeal is found unmeritorious, and it is accordingly dismissed.” Other justices on the panel — Peter Obiora and Okon Abang — agreed with the lead judgement. Kyari is standing trial alongside four members of his team —Sunday Ubia, Bawa James, Simon Agirigba, and John Nuhu — on eight counts of drug trafficking. The  United Arab Emirates has denied approving $10k bank balance, and N640k fee requirements for Nigerians applying for visas into the country. T he Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced on Monday, that the UAE authorities agreed to vacate travel restrictions imposed on Nigerians. Idris further revealed that applicants must fulfill certain conditions part of which was obtaining a document verification number on documentverificationhub.ae. According to the website, the verification costs a non-refundable N640,000 excluding VAT for each application. This does not include the visa fee. Additionally, applicants must provide a six-month bank statement showing a minimum balance of $10,000. This development was condemned by air travellers who labelled the requirements as a “constructive ban,”. It was earlier  rumoured on the internet that Kizz Daniel’s marriage had crashed after his wife caught him with another woman in his studio. Speaking in a post on its X handle on Wednesday, the singer requested a refund for all that he has done for her if she insists on breaking up with him. In a now trending deleted post, he wrote; “If you won break up with me, Follow no my problem just pay me my PENSION $, For all the things I don do airtime, Gifts, The F**k etc then you can leave – Balaclava.”
