  Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has called on the people of the South East to prevent further disruptions and put an end to the activities of Simon Ekpa, a Finland-based Biafra agitator, who has been accused of causing violence, insecurity, and economic disruptions in the region. In a statement signed by its Secretary General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, on Sunday, Ohanaeze urged every Igbo person to play an active role in preventing further violence and disruptions in the region. “Simon Ekpa, hailing from Ebonyi State in Southeast Nigeria, has been implicated in orchestrating a series of disruptive activities, including the enforcement of a Sit-At-Home order that paralyzed the region for one week, from 3rd to 9th July, 2023. Multiple award-winning afrobeat star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has disclosed his intention to reward a staff of Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, with $10,000 for returning $70,000 misplaced by a customer in Lagos. The young lady made headlines a few days ago due to her honesty, with many praising her for not eloping with the huge amount of money despite the current economic situation of the country. In his usual act of kindness, the Afrobeat sensation has requested the contact information of the lady in order to reward her for her honesty.  The Unavailable crooner who quoted a Twitter user who praised the lady for being an honest citizen, wrote, “Find her for me…I donate $10k.” Fans and lovers of the artist, however, flooded the post’s comments section with praises. This is coming a few days after the pop star, through his David Adeleke Foundation (DAF) donated N237Million to 424 orphanages in Nigeria.

  The recent death of a lady, Miss Chinyere Awuda, in a night club at Awka, Anambra State capital, has revealed a new profession. Miss Awuda, an Awka resident, and an indigene of Nnobi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, close neighbours said, was an easy going lady, who earned the trust of others through her respect for all. A journalist with a popular radio station in Anambra, Mr Ogemdi Ozoemena who claimed that Awuda used to be his neighbour, said he regularly saw her on their street, and had seen her just days before she was allegedly hacked to death by clubbers at Mila Club, which is situated inside Cosmila Hotel, a popular hospitality facility in Awka, which has its parent facility in Lagos. “ She always called me Oga Vicky, and she was such a respectful girl.   Nigerian artiste, Adekunle Kosoko popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has issued a stern warning to his fellow colleague, Olawale Olorofo also known as Brymo, to “get help” and stay away from his family, and wife, Simisola Kosoko, known as Simi. AG Baby as fondly called by his fans gave this warning in reaction to a recent confession by Brymo regarding his wife, Simi, who is also a singer. Taking to his verified Twitter page on Friday, AG Baby addressed the issue and expressed his displeasure at Brymo’s statement, warning him not to disrespect his wife and family. He also advised Brymo to seek help.   A staff of Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, has returned misplaced $70,000 to a customer in Lagos. In a remarkable display of honesty and integrity, she returned the money that was left behind by a guest. The incident occurred when the guest, who pleaded anonymous,  left behind a bag containing the substantial sum in one of the hotel’s suites.  Upon discovering the bag, the staff member immediately reported it to the hotel management. The hotel’s General Manager, in line with the establishment’s policy of integrity and transparency, promptly initiated the process of returning the money to its rightful owner. The guest was contacted and the money was returned in full, much to their relief and gratitude. A lady identified as Chinyere Awuda has allegedly been beaten to death inside Cosmila Hotel in Awka, Anambra State capital, where she went clubbing. The corpse of the deceased, who hailed from Nnobi, in the Idemili South Local Government Area of the state, was said to have been found the following morning near the hotel’s swimming pool where it was dumped. It was gathered that the incident happened on Saturday when some friends of a man celebrating his birthday were throwing money at him while he was dancing at the hotel.  The state government has since sealed off the hotel. It was also gathered on  Thursday that she was beaten to death for allegedly picking some of the money thrown at the person celebrating his birthday.
