Nollywood actress, Nkechi Angel Nweje has passed away.

The actress is said to have passed on the morning of Friday March 21, 2025 after a brief illness.

Her cause of death has not been disclosed but colleagues have gone online to express shock over her death.

Nkechi starred in movies alongside other greats like the late Junior Pope Odonwodo. 

Her colleagues and fans have begun to send in condolences.

The United States House Of Representatives Votes To Suspend 100% Aid To Nigeria Over Alleged Christian Persecution

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
