Junior Pope’s Corpse Moved To Enugu For Burial After Appeasing The River Goddess

 


The remains of late Nollywood actor, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope who died after a boat mishap on Wednesday alongside four other victims at the Anam river in Anambra State have been moved to his home town in Enugu State for burial. 

It was gathered that the late actor’s corpse was moved to Enugu on Friday, after performing some rituals to appease to the river goddess.

The deceased’s wife, who has been in Asaba since the sad incident happened, also left for Enugu Friday evening.

However, no burial arrangement has been announced so far by the family, but there are indications that the remains of the late actor will be laid to rest as soon as possible.
