Three Siblings Die Of Suffocation Inside A Car In Kwara State

Three siblings of the same parents, a boy and two girls, died on Sunday as a result of suffocation in a car parked in their residential quarters in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Their mother, Shade Silifat, who had gone out to buy Indomie noodles for their school meals on Monday, fainted as a result of the incident that occurred at No. 8, Boluke Line, Zango-Kulende quarters in the Ilorin metropolis.

The incident occurred at about 2 pm when the three children locked themselves in the parked car borrowed by their father from his sister within the premises of their quarters.

Their mother, who discovered their footwear outside the parked car, raised an alarm after forcing the doors of the car open.

It was gathered that the three children were then rushed to Olutayo Clinic, very close to their residence for medical attention.

The medical director, Dr Adeyemo, however, directed that they be taken to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, where they were confirmed dead.

The bodies of the three siblings were later taken to a Muslim cemetery for burial according to Islamic rites.

Bobrisky Falls Ill In Police Custody, Rushed To Hospital

  Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, has reportedly fallen ill while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos. After spending the night in a police cell, Bobrisky was rushed to Falomo Police Hospital for medical attention. A source confirmed the development, stating that he was transferred from the FCID to the hospital for treatment. The source said,  “Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area of Lagos around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L.   The  Magistrates' Court in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, denied bail to prominent broadcast journalist Chinonso Uba, popularly known as Nonso Nkwa, and ordered him to be remanded at the Owerri Correctional Centre on Wednesday. Uba was arraigned before the Chief Magistrate, His Worship Adikaibe, on five counts preferred against him by N.S.   The government of Equatorial Guinea has dismissed Baltasar Ebang Engonga as Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) after a series of over 400 sex tapes involving him and multiple women surfaced online.   A  shooting spree in Awka, Anambra State capital on Thursday morning, has claimed several lives. One of the sources, a student, said the shooting happened in Ifite Awka, at approximately 9:15 a.m., leaving several people dead. Traditional Festival Turns Bloody In Anambra Community As Gunmen Attack And Kill Scores

  Tragedy  unfolded in Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State on Sunday, as a violent attack by masked gunmen resulted in multiple fatalities during the Onwa Asaa festival, a traditional community celebration. The assailants, reportedly driving a black Lexus SUV, stormed an eatery in the community and opened fire indiscriminately, leaving several people dead.
