Pastor Sets Lady On Fire During Special Prayer In Ogun State

  A 21-year-old lady identified as Sukura Owodunni has allegedly been set ablaze by a pastor, Taiwo Odebiyi, when he was trying to perform deliverance on her at his Cherubim and Seraphim Maberu Parish located in Offin in the Sagamu area of Ogun State. It was gathered that the incident happened on August 17, 2023, when the victim visited the church for a special prayer at the pastor’s invitation. It was also gathered that  the pastor directed the victim to buy Amazing Grace perfume, local eggs and a candle for the special prayer. While praying for her, the pastor was said to have poured the perfume on the lady’s body and lit the candle. Immediately after the pastor lit the candle, Owodunni was said to have gone up in flames, causing serious burns to her chest, shoulder and legs.  E yewitness said that the suspect was immediately arrested after the Divisional Police Officer in Adigbe, CSP Abdulfattah Ogunsanya, and his men stormed the premises on Tuesday. Police Arrest 67 Gay Suspects Attending Gay Marriage Ceremony In Delta State

  The police in Delta State on Tuesday said the confession of a male cross-dresser who claimed to be an actor, led to the arrest of 67 suspects - both male and female - for allegedly conducting and attending a same-sex wedding ceremony in the state. It was gathered that the Delta State command of the Nigeria Police Force arrested about 67 men suspected to be carrying out a “gay wedding ceremony”, in the state. It was also gathered  that the gay club party was organized at Teebulos Hotel, in Warri South Local Government Area of the State.   Detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has told the Federal Government that he will not beg for his release after being cleared by Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court in Abuja. This was contained in a letter dated August 25, 2023, and signed by Kanu’s lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN). The letter was made available to newsmen last night on Monday August 28, 2023. South African Arrested With ‘Mkpuru Mmiri’ Consignment At Abuja Airport

  A South African, Erasmus Jean-Pierre, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja over attempt to smuggle 2.6 kilogrammes of methamphetamine, also known as Mkpuru Mmiri, via the Nigerian airport to the Middle East. Pastor Commits Suicide After Lover Jilted Him In Anambra State

  A pastor of a Pentecostal Church (name withheld) in Nnewi, Anambra State, identified as Pastor Prosper Igboke, has committed suicide after he jumped down from a two-storey building in Nnewi. Sources in the area said Igboke jumped down from the two-storey building and died instantly after he was jilted by his lover, whom he had spent so much on. A relative of the deceased who spoke to journalists on Saturday, said the 30-year-old man from Leru community in Umunneochi Local Government Area, Abia State, had trained his lover in the university, after which she declined his marriage proposal.
