A 30-year-old man has reportedly committed suicide.

 
The man identified as Ani Chisom Bright allegedly took his own life after his master refused to settle him following 7 years of apprenticeship in Lagos.
 
The post shared by a former lawmaker, Marie Ude Nwachi stated that Bright left a suicide note.
 
The post read:
 
"TRAGIC: Man, Ani Chisom, comm!t suicide following refusal of his boss to settle him after 7 years of service 
 
A 30year Old Man Ani Chisom Bright has ended it all due to frustration following his Masters refusal to settle him after serving him for 7 solid Years in Lagos.
 
Explaining his decision to end it all, late Ani in a Suicide note said his Boss Mr Innocent Ulasi of Otolo Cars Lagos refused to settle him after 7 years of Hard Labour Service.

“And For My Oga Innocent Ulasi(Otolo Cars)   We will meet each other soon, but before we do that, you will hear from me soon, you made me go through a lot after serving you for 7years with hard labour with you “he stated in the Suicide note titled God is the Greatest. He thereafter took a poisonous substance & died. - Promise Uzoma Okoro"

A  federal lawmaker representing the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in Edo State, Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt. Okojie, the husband of the Nollywood movie Star, Mercy Johnson, was reportedly attacked by armed men suspected to be political thugs at his residence in Uromi on Friday morning. Okojie’s media aide, Michael Ihaza, confirmed the development in a statement. According to the statement, the attackers invaded the lawmaker’s residence with a Lexus GX 470 carrying a Rivers State vehicle registration number – PHC 253 FF. Many Feared Dead As Nigerian Soldiers And Gunmen Engage In Gun Battle In Imo State

  A  serious gun battle broke out between soldiers and unidentified gunmen in the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, reportedly resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries. According to reports, the attack occurred at the Aba branch in Ehime Mbano last night. “Some non-state actors attacked and killed some soldiers in the area yesterday,”  a source claimed. “The whole place is on fire, and troops have taken over nearby communities,”  the source added. Following the incident, residents fled in panic amid constant shootings that filled the air, creating a climate of fear and uncertainty. “We are terrified,”  said a resident who wished to remain anonymous. “The sound of gunfire is still echoing in our ears.   Just few hours to the Imo State Local Government elections, the State’s Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, has called on members of the public to display civility by shunning acts capable of disrupting the electoral process during and after the exercise. Woman Sentenced To 10 Years Imprisonment For Stabbing Husband's Side Chick

  A  court has sentenced a Zimbabwean woman, Stacey Mkandla, to 10 years imprisonment after she was found guilty of stabbing her husband’s lover. She stabbed the lady after discovering the two in a compromising position in her marital bed earlier this year. The 34-year-old was alerted by neighbors while attending an all-night church service and rushed home around 4 a.m., where she found her husband, Tafadzwa Emmanuel Munyoro, in bed with his lover, Brightness Phiri. Oracle Wins Bid To Buy TikTok's US Operation After The Chinese App Rejected Microsoft

  American computer technology giant, Oracle Corporation has reportedly won the bidding for TikTok's US operations after the Chinese app rejected Microsoft.    According to Bloomberg, a Wall Street Journal reported that Oracle would be announced as TikTok’s trusted tech partner in the United States.
