A 30-year-old man has reportedly committed suicide.

 
The man identified as Ani Chisom Bright allegedly took his own life after his master refused to settle him following 7 years of apprenticeship in Lagos.
 
The post shared by a former lawmaker, Marie Ude Nwachi stated that Bright left a suicide note.
 
The post read:
 
"TRAGIC: Man, Ani Chisom, comm!t suicide following refusal of his boss to settle him after 7 years of service 
 
A 30year Old Man Ani Chisom Bright has ended it all due to frustration following his Masters refusal to settle him after serving him for 7 solid Years in Lagos.
 
Explaining his decision to end it all, late Ani in a Suicide note said his Boss Mr Innocent Ulasi of Otolo Cars Lagos refused to settle him after 7 years of Hard Labour Service.

“And For My Oga Innocent Ulasi(Otolo Cars)   We will meet each other soon, but before we do that, you will hear from me soon, you made me go through a lot after serving you for 7years with hard labour with you “he stated in the Suicide note titled God is the Greatest. He thereafter took a poisonous substance & died. - Promise Uzoma Okoro"

American stand-up comedian and TV host, Rickey Smiley revealed that his 19-year-old daughter, Aaryn, was shot three times during a road incident in Houston, Texas over the weekend. Ghanaian authorities have explained why they locked up some Nigerian-owned shops in the country amid an ongoing controversy about the Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC) registration.   Recall LIB reported earlier that the requirement for GIPC registration is $1 million minimum foreign equity, while registration fee is 31,500 cedis.   Reacting to the controversy that has trailed the GIPC registration in an interview with Starr News, Boakye Boateng, the head of communications in the country’s trade ministry said it would be unfair for the Nigerian traders to complain of insensitivity.   He further alleged that the traders were pardoned for over a year following the intervention of President Nana Akufo-Addo.   Boateng said;    “It cannot be that we’ve been insensitive.
