  One of the suspects linked to the murder of former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa,  has allegedly implicated his baby mama and singer Kelly Khumalo in the murder.   City Press reported that the hitman in a confession made before a magistrate in June, six years after Senzo Meyiwa’s death, alleged that the plot was hatched in a mall in Johannesburg.    Though no arrest has been made so far, it was however learnt that investigators have submitted the docket to prosecutors to obtain warrants of arrests for all implicated in the murder.     Insiders told the publication that a crack team of investigators appointed by Police Minister Bheki Cele, took eight months to wrap up investigations that had been stalled for years.   “We have a watertight case. We’ve managed to track down a firearm that was used to kill Senzo.   As the Christian fold in Nigeria continues to argue over the relevance of the new CAMA law signed by President Buhari, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN),  Rev.   Greek Prosecution lawyer, Loannis Paradissis, has slammed Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire's account of his arrest on the Greek island of Mykonos.   Maguire was arrested this week after allegedly assaulting police officers while holiday in with friends and family in Greece.   The brawl allegedly started as a result of two Albanian men injecting the defender's sister with a date-rape drug. He was found guilty of charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and repeated attempts of bribery after the incident, but claims he is innocent as he thought he was being kidnapped.      Maguire, who is appealing the suspended prison sentence he was handed, with the backing of Manchester United, sat down with the BBC on Thursday August 28, his first interview since the verdict, and claimed that he was scared for his life as he thought he and his friends were being kidnapped, adding that he tried to run away after being assaulted by a police officer.                 Paradissis,

  Chelsea have confirmed the signing of French defender Malang Sarr on a free transfer.    The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge but will head to Bayer Leverkusen, in a loan switch that would help secure the signature of Kai Havertz in a £90m deal.   In 119 appearances for Nice, the France Under-21 international scored three goals before leaving the club to join Chelsea on a free transfer.   On signing Sarr, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said: 'The opportunity to sign Malang was one we could not miss.    'He is a tremendous prospect and we will be monitoring him closely during his loan period, hoping he will soon be back at Chelsea.   Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos has become the first person in the World to have a net worth of $200 billion.   Forbes reported that Bezos was worth $204.6 billion as of 1:50 pm ET on Wednesday, August 26, when Amazon stock gained 2%. The 56-year-old who is already the richest person in the world, saw his net worth increase to $204.6 billion from $74 billion during the span of 2020.    According to Forbes' calculations, Amazon founder's fortune is the largest ever amassed even when taking inflation into account.   The report said Amazon’s stock price has been skyrocketing over the last few months, as millions of people have been forced to stay inside and order more products online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.    The company’s share price has surged more than 100% since March 16, when it was trading for less than $1,700 per share.   Amazon is worth $1.72 trillion, making it the second most valuable company behind Apple, which is worth $2.16 trillion. 

  Zimbabwe has made it illegal for schools to expel pupils who get pregnant, a measure aimed at tackling gender inequality in the classroom and discouraging many girls from dropping out of school. Big Brother Naija season 4 housemate, Tuoyo Ideh has come clean on his claim of being a stripper while on the reality show.    In an Instagram post he shared, the reality show star admitted that he lied and has been stuck with the lie for over a year.   Brazilian football legend, Ronaldinho was released on Monday, August 24, by a Paraguayan judge after spending five months in detention over a forged passport.   Judge Gustavo Amarilla also released Ronaldinho's brother Roberto de Assis Moreira, who was held for a month in jail and another four months under house arrest for the same charge.   The 40-year-old former World Cup winner "is free to travel to whatever country in the world he wants but he must inform us if he changes his permanent residence" for a period of one year, the judge said.   "He has no restrictions except for the fulfilment of reparations for damage to society."     Ronaldinho accepted the terms of his release, which include payment of $90,000 in damages. Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has recreated the look she wore for Tuface Idibia's African Queen music video 16 years ago.   The actress was one of the women featured in the music video released in 2004. 16 years on, and ahead of her birthday, she chose to recreate the look, down to the guitar.   She added that it's the "same girl, same dress" but revealed that the guitar used in the recent photoshoot is not the same one used in the music video.   See photos below.  

  Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has opened up on her Coronavirus experience while reacting to a debate on how Nollywood can adhere strictly to the health guidelines of COVID-19 before reopening productions on the popular filmmakers’ WhatsApp group, Filmic.    Vanguard reported that the veteran actress said she was treated by some infectious decease doctors who told her that many people are infected with the virus because there’s no widespread testing.    Omotola further revealed that when most people feel unwell, they attribute it to malaria, diarrhea among other ailments.   Recalling how she contracted the disease on a movie set, the actress said;    “I hardly fall ill and so when I left the set and started having chills the next day or so, I knew something wasn’t right.
