Afrobeat star, Davido has revealed what his wife, Chioma Adeleke, told him after he missed out on the Grammy Awards once again.

The singer attended the award ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night, February 1, 2026. He had his wife and siblings with him. 

However, he lost the category he was nominated for, with South African singer, Tyla taking home the price. 

He stated that following the loss, he told Chioma that they lost again so there was no reason to go to the after party. 

However, Chioma gave a profound response. 

Sharing photos from their outing, Davido wrote: “I said baby listen we lost again let’s not go!

“She said ‘Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat’ we outside.”

Ibom Air Bans Passenger For Life After Violent Assault On Crew And Security At Lagos Airport

Nigerian air carrier, Ibom Airlines Limited has banned a passenger identified as Comfort Emmanson, from flying with its airline after she was found assaulting one of the crew members of their aircraft. Emmanson had in a viral video repeatedly slapped a Purser with Ibom Aircraft after she was allegedly told to switch off her phone before take-off. Confirming the incident in a statement on Monday, Ibom Air said the incident happened on Sunday while Emmanson was on board their Uyo to Lagos flight. The statement read, “Shortly before take-off from Uyo, Ms. Emmanson was instructed in line with standard aviation safety procedures to switch off her mobile phone.   Gunmen attacked and killed travelers on Thursday along the Okigwe-Owerri road in Imo State. The exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed as of the time of filing this report. The attackers also set ablaze no fewer than eight vehicles, including a truck.
