TikToker, Shamsodium Regains Freedom After Three Months In Prison


 
TikToker Saheed Jamiu Osama popularly known as Shamsodium has been released after spending three months at the Ikoyi prison.
 
This comes after he was granted bail over allegations of cyberbullying and defamation against Omowunmi, the widow of late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad
 
Recall that Shamsodium was arrested after he repeatedly appeared in public carrying placards accusing Omowunmi of killing late Mohbad.
 
He displayed messages like “Wunmi killed Mohbad,” while parading the streets of Lagos.
 
After his release, he was seen praising his lawyer, Bolaji Oluwatosin, on camera, describing him as “the best lawyer ever” for securing his freedom from detention.
 
The bail terms reportedly included a ₦3 million bond and surety, alongside submission of identification documents and proof of residence.
 
Shamsodium’s release marks the end of a tense three-month legal battle that had drawn public attention due to the high-profile nature of the case.
