Nigerian Comedian DeeOne Completes Guinness World Records For Longest Stand-Up Comedy

 


Nigerian comedian, social media influencer and BBNaija star, Aderombi Adedayo Martin popularly known as DeeOne, has completed a Guinness World Records (GWR), attempt for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.

After confirmation by GWR, the comedian began the 52-hour attempt around 12 AM on October 2 and completed it on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Speaking after the event, DeeOne noted that the record attempt was to encourage Nigerian youths and every dreamer that “no goal is too high to achieve.”

The 52-hour event, which took place at Pallazzo in the Ikeja area of Lagos State, was attended by many Nigerian celebrities, including Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K-Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st and among others.

It was gathered that DeeOne’s 52-hour and 42-minute achievement is now subject to official verification by the GWR.

It will be recalled that American comedian Benny Elbows held the current record on April 25, 2025 after a 40-hour, 16-minute, and 48-second attempt.
