One of Queen Elizabeth's bodyguards was arrested on suspicion of drugs possession after white powder was found in a bathroom at St James' Palace.    The bodyguard was said to have nine bags of cocaine and ketamine among his possessions after police searched his room and car at Wellington Barracks by Buckingham Palace.    The Coldstream Guardsman was arrested on Tuesday, July 28, by the Royal Military Police and has been removed from ceremonial duties pending the outcome of the investigation.    According to The Sun, officers launched an investigation after white powder was found in the guardroom toilets where the soldier had been on duty.    They then uncovered five bags of what was suspected to be cocaine and four of ketamine, a horse sedative that is also a Class A drug.    An Army spokesman told MailOnline: "We can confirm that a soldier from the Coldstream Guards has been arrested for a suspected drug offence by the Royal Military Police.    "It would be inappropr

British-Ghanaian rapper, Solo 45, has been jailed for 24 years for repeatedly raping and assaulting four women while he held them against their will.   The Grime star, whose is real name is Andy Anokye was known by his stage name Solo 45. He was found guilty at Bristol Crown Court of 30 charges relating to a two-year period.   The 33-year-old was convicted of 21 rapes and five counts of false imprisonment, two counts of assault by penetration and two of assault occasioning actual bodily harm by a court in the southwestern city of Bristol.   The offences were committed between February 2015 and March 2017.     Police began investigating Anokye in 2017 after one of his victims told friends and police that she had been raped. After his arrest, officers discovered harrowing footage filmed by Anokye on his mobile phone, and this led police to three other women.   He met these victims at his gigs and developed relationships with them before assaulting them, his trial heard.   One of his Anok

The dismembered body of a popular Ukrainian rapper was found inside a fridge after his wife reportedly chopped up his body and cleaned his organs in a washing machine before sprinkling them with salt.    Rapper, Andy Cartwright, 30, known for his performances at Versus Battle died of a drug overdose in his flat in St Petersburg, Russia, according to his wife.      Marina Kukhal, 36, told investigators that she did not want his fans to know he had died such an 'inglorious' death - and had to dismember his body over four days and kept his body parts in black plastic bags and her fridge.    She also claimed she found a syringe next to his body but Newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda said no drugs were found on the rapper's body, citing sources.      Police say Kukhal used a knife, hammer, hacksaw, plastic bowl and chopping board to chop off the rapper's body.    The limbs were reportedly sawn 'perfectly' and the body parts sprinkled with salt while the couple's two-

A Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Humble Okoro, has carried out a funeral service for late George Floyd in Mbaise, Imo State.   Leadership reports that Pastor Okoro while carrying out the funeral, said “I have traced the ancestral root of George Obinna Floyd to Umuoffor kindred in Obokwu obibi Aboh Mbaise Imo State and I feel so happy now that we have reburied him alongside with his ancestors.”   46-year-old Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill in May this year. No life was lost after a boat capsized at Marine Police Head-quarter, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi on Tuesday night July 28.   According to a statement released this morning by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, The boat capsized while en route Ikoyi from Ilashe after it t collided with an unidentified substance. A total of 10 persons(9 Adult males and a female) were involved in the incident and were rescued alive by the Marine Police in conjunction with LASEMA Response Team as no life was lost. The names of the victims are as follows:-  Ogungbe Taiwo(Captain of the Boat) Ernest Abode Anjadick Emmanuel Isah Obima Ewere Mashack Bulus Oyefeso Oluwamayo Owoyemi Taiwo Peter Aina Oluwasanmi Lawal Gbolahan and Chinasa Temitope(female) The second boat was recovered from the water ten minutes after the first one which had 7 victims on board and the total number of victims rescued now 17 in number ( 16 Males and 1 female).

Justice F. N. Azinge of the Delta State High Court sitting in Otor-Udu has convicted and sentenced the duo of Pastor Glory Okeoghene Aberefa and Reverend Vincent Okpogo to 16 and 10 years imprisonment respectively for allegedly stealing N32m.   A statement from the EFCC says the convicts, alongside their company, Mustard Seed Micro Investment Limited, were prosecuted by the Benin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on 16-count charges, bordering on conspiracy to steal and stealing, contrary to Section 516 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, CAP 21, Vol 1, Laws of Delta State of Nigeria, 2006.   They pleaded “not guilty” to the charges, upon their arraignment on June 19, 2017.   Their trial by the EFCC legal team of V. O. Agbaje and K. U. Udus followed a petition and investigation which fingered them in the stealing of the sum of N32,516,620.00 (Thirty-Two Million, Five Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Six Hundred and Twenty Naira).   The first defendant, Past

Phoenix Osinuga, an OAP and wife of late singer Nomoreloss is dead after a long battle with  fibromyalgia.    Phoenix who suffered from fibromyalgia (a rheumatic condition characterized by muscular or musculoskeletal pain with stiffness and localized tenderness at specific points on the body) for almost 4 years, got married to the singer in 2008 and they welcomed their daughter MO in 2011.    Nomoreloss however died in 2016 after suffering from Pneumonia. 

A 25-year-old man identified as Ashiru Musa Danrimi allegedly stabbed himself to death with a knife in Kano state after his fiancee abandoned him to get married to another man.   According to reports, the deceased who was a member of a Neighborhood watch in Kadawa ward, Ungogo local government area of the state, became frustrated after his fiancee, Umi Muhammad, decided to get married to another man despite committing himself financially and otherwise to their relationship. He allegedly took a knife and stabbed himself.    Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Kano state police command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said the police rushed the deceased to the Murtala Hospital where he was confirmed dead. A 20-year-old Black woman was found hanging dead in her white roommate's garage and the police department has ruled it a suicide, yet, friends and family speculate otherwise.   The McKinney Police Department has declared the death of 20-year-old Gloria Bambo, a McKinney, Texas, resident, a suicide after she was found dead in the garage on July 12.   Facebook user Jamilla Arnold posted this statement on her page:   She wrote: "Gloria Bambo, a South African citizen, and a resident of McKinney, Texas, was found hung inside her garage. Gloria resided with her roommate, a white male who found her in the garage Sunday July 12, 2020. Gloria went missing Thursday and supposedly died in that garage the same day July 9. Gloria’s body was in that garage 3 days, where people resided, and repairs were made. No one has heard anything about this Why? A married pharmacist was strangled to death by her husband who wanted to start a new life in Australia with his gay lover, a review into her death found. Jessica Patel, 34, was strangled by her husband Mitesh, 37, at their Middlesbrough home in May 2018 in a premeditated attack. The man then planned to move to Australia to live with his gay boyfriend. Samsung is reportedly working on a sequel to its first foldable smartphone, the $2,000 Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 reportedly appeared in a blurry photo over the weekend, care of  a trusted smartphone leaker who goes by the name "Ice Universe." Visually, the phone appears to be very similar to the previous model, but reports suggest it has a larger screen and an improved camera. A masked thief was caught stealing a massive dildo from a Las Vegas sex shop in broad daylight.  In the surveillance footage of the July 14 theft at the Deja Vu Love Boutique in Las Vegas, which was obtained by TMZ, the man was seen calmly walking into the store.  As he picked up a 3-foot, 40-pound dildo, he immediately left with the massive sex toy slung over his shoulder without paying.  According to the police report, the guy whose ID was concealed by a face mask, flee with the sex toy in a white car, similar to a Dodge Caliber. He “just picked it up and walked out with it,” Laura, a store employee who declined to give her last name, told HuffPost on Tuesday, July 21.   Laura said the stolen good is actually a sex toy named Moby and sells for $1,250.

Ekiti State Corps Commandant of Amotekun, Brigadier-General Joe Komolafe (Rtd.) has disclosed that they will be deploying ancient, local and modern security techniques to ward off kidnapping, robbery and other heinous crimes from the state.   Speaking at Efon Alaaye during a sensitisation tour to Ekiti West, Efon Alaaye and Ijero Local government areas of the State, Komolafe averred that the neglect of traditional culture and patterns of exposing criminals is one of the reasons for the rising spate of crimes in the South-West region.
